Located near the Arriaga Theatre, the Monumento a Arriaga honors the life and work of Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga, a prodigious composer often referred to as the 'Spanish Mozart'. The statue captures Arriaga in a contemplative pose, reflecting his contribution to classical music. Designed by Francisco Durrio, the monument was inaugurated in 1906 and stands as a testament to Bilbao's rich musical heritage.
