Palazzo Farnese is a masterpiece of Renaissance architecture, designed by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger and completed by Michelangelo. The palace is famed for its grand facade and the stunning frescoes by Annibale Carracci, depicting the loves of the gods. As the current home of the French Embassy, it is not always open to the public, but special tours can be arranged to explore its exquisite interiors.
