The Archiginnasio of Bologna is a significant cultural site, originally serving as the main building of the University of Bologna, the oldest university in the world. Built in the 16th century, it now houses the Archiginnasio Municipal Library and the Anatomical Theatre, a beautifully restored room used for anatomy lectures. The walls are adorned with over 7,000 coats of arms of students and professors.
