The Katholische Hofkirche, also known as the Dresden Cathedral, is a masterpiece of Baroque architecture built between 1739 and 1755. This grand edifice was commissioned by Augustus III, the Elector of Saxony, and features an impressive 86-meter tower. Despite being heavily damaged during World War II, it has been meticulously restored to its former glory. The interior is adorned with beautiful frescoes and a magnificent organ, making it a must-visit for architecture and history enthusiasts.
