Derinkuyu Underground City is a marvel of ancient engineering, extending to a depth of approximately 60 meters. It features a complex network of tunnels and rooms, including stables, cellars, and chapels, which were used by early Christians as a refuge from invaders. The city could accommodate up to 20,000 people, making it one of the largest underground cities in the region.
