An ancient Roman theatre located at the foot of the Alcazaba.
Discovered in 1951, the Roman Theatre of Malaga dates back to the 1st century BC and is one of the oldest monuments in the city. It was used for performances and gatherings during the Roman Empire and remained in use until the 3rd century AD. Today, the theatre is partially restored and hosts cultural events and performances, allowing visitors to experience its historical ambiance.
