Monumentul Eroilor Aerului, located in Aviators' Square, Bucharest, is a grand tribute to the brave Romanian aviators who lost their lives in the line of duty. Created by sculptors Lidia Kotzebue, Iosif Fekete, and Leonida Zamfirescu, the monument was unveiled in 1935 and stands as a symbol of courage and sacrifice. The structure features a bronze statue of an aviator with wings, soaring into the sky, and is surrounded by a series of bas-reliefs depicting various aviation scenes. It serves not only as a reminder of the past but also as an inspiration for future generations.
