More About Dom Luís I Bridge
The Dom Luís I Bridge, completed in 1886, is a masterpiece of engineering and a symbol of Porto. Designed by the Belgian engineer Théophile Seyrig, a disciple of Gustave Eiffel, the bridge connects Porto with Vila Nova de Gaia and offers stunning views of the city and the river.
