The Sanctuary of the Madonna di San Luca is a significant religious and cultural site in Bologna, located on the Monte della Guardia hill. The basilica is accessible via a 3.5 km long portico, consisting of 666 arches, which is the longest in the world. This 18th-century church is famous for its beautiful Baroque architecture and houses the revered icon of the Madonna with Child, believed to be painted by St. Luke himself.
