A grand equestrian statue of Saint Wenceslas, the patron saint of Bohemia.
Situated at the top of Wenceslas Square, the Wenceslas Monument is a powerful symbol of Czech national identity. Created by sculptor Josef Václav Myslbek, the statue was completed in 1912 and depicts Saint Wenceslas on horseback, surrounded by four other patron saints of Bohemia. This monument is not only a popular meeting point but also a site of historical significance, having witnessed numerous pivotal events in Czech history.
