Seville Cathedral, officially known as the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the See, is an architectural masterpiece and the largest Gothic cathedral globally. Built on the site of a former mosque, it retains elements of Islamic architecture, including the famous Giralda tower. The cathedral is also the burial site of Christopher Columbus.
