El Bañuelo
Granada • Historical Sites
El Bañuelo, also known as the Arab Baths, is a stunning example of Andalusian architecture from the 11th century. Located at the foot of the Alhambra, it offers a glimpse into the social and cultural life of the Moors in Granada. Visitors can admire the well-preserved stone and brick construction, star-shaped skylights, and the intricate layout of the baths that includes a cold room, a warm room, and a hot room. This historical site is one of the few bathhouses that survived the Catholic Monarchs' destruction.
