A Plečnik-designed landmark embodying Slovenia's national pride.

A stone bridge known for its historical significance and picturesque views.
Also known as Cobbler's Bridge, this iconic structure spans the Ljubljanica River. Originally a wooden bridge, it was replaced with the current stone version designed by Jože Plečnik in the 1930s. Its name harkens back to medieval times when shoemakers had their stalls along the bridge. Today, it's a favored spot for locals and visitors alike to enjoy views of the river and the surrounding architecture.
