Ljubljana • Monuments & Statues
A tribute to Slovenia's greatest poet, located in one of Ljubljana's key squares.

This baroque masterpiece is a striking centerpiece in Ljubljana's Town Square, inspired by Roman influences.
The Robba Fountain, also known as the Fountain of the Three Carniolan Rivers, is a baroque monument located in Mestni trg. Designed by the Italian sculptor Francesco Robba in the 18th century, its design was inspired by the famous fountains in Rome. The fountain features three figures symbolizing the rivers Sava, Ljubljanica, and Krka, making it a significant representation of the region's natural heritage. Though a replica, as the original stands in the National Gallery, it remains a beloved landmark and a testament to the artistic prowess of the era.
