The Peggy Guggenheim Collection is one of Italy's most important museums for European and American art of the first half of the 20th century. Located on the Grand Canal, it is housed in the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni, which was the home of the American heiress Peggy Guggenheim. The museum exhibits Peggy Guggenheim's personal collection of 20th-century art, masterpieces from the Gianni Mattioli Collection, the Nasher Sculpture Garden, as well as temporary exhibitions. The museum provides educational activities for children, making it ideal for family visits.
