The Temple of Olympian Zeus, also known as the Olympieion, is one of the largest temples in Greece, dedicated to Zeus, the king of the Olympian gods. Construction began in the 6th century BC but was not completed until the reign of Roman Emperor Hadrian in the 2nd century AD. The temple originally had 104 colossal columns, of which only 15 remain standing today, offering a glimpse into its former grandeur.
