A stunning glasshouse showcasing exotic plants from around the world.
Located within the Schönbrunn Palace grounds, the Palmenhaus is a magnificent glasshouse built in 1882. It is one of the largest of its kind in Europe, housing a wide variety of tropical and subtropical plants. The Palmenhaus is divided into three climate zones, each designed to mimic the natural habitat of the plants it houses. Visitors can marvel at towering palms, vibrant orchids, and other exotic flora while enjoying the architectural beauty of the glasshouse itself.
